LOCATION PARTNERS WANTED • CANADA

GlobeXpress™ City Service Hub Franchise Opportunity

We are building a Canada-wide network of staffed GlobeXpress™ logistics locations using flexible commercial warehouse/co-warehousing space. Our target hub is a 10×20 ft or 10×30 ft operating unit in a major city, supported by one full-time location administrator.

Become a Location Partner Partner Network

The hub model

200–300 sq. ft.

10×20 is the standard launch footprint; 10×30 is preferred where shipment volume justifies additional staging space.

Working warehouse

Power, secure access, loading/receiving capability, business use permission and operational access during normal business hours are required.

One administrator

40 hours per week handling customer service, receiving, scanning, inventory, booking support, documentation and hub coordination.

GlobeX technology

Customer booking, barcode/QR tracking, shipment records, dispatch, partner communications and operational reporting are supplied through the GlobeX platform.

National rollout timeline

  1. Phase 1 — 0–30 days: finalize the hub specification, national partner terms, insurance requirements, operating SOPs and franchise/location-partner package.
  2. Phase 2 — 31–60 days: secure pilot hubs in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver/Surrey; recruit and train the first location administrators.
  3. Phase 3 — 61–120 days: launch Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton and Winnipeg; connect receiving, barcode, customer pickup and outbound workflows.
  4. Phase 4 — 4–9 months: expand into Halifax, Quebec City, Saskatoon, Regina, London, Hamilton, Windsor, Mississauga/Brampton, Durham and Barrie.
  5. Phase 5 — 9–18 months: fill remaining major-city and regional corridors and add 10×30 hubs where volume supports expansion.

Planning rental budget by major market

Important: these are budgeting assumptions, not landlord quotes. Actual 10×20/10×30 commercial rates depend on unit availability, access, loading, power, term and included services. FlexSpace states that it can source business storage/co-warehousing from 50 sq. ft. to 1,000,000+ sq. ft. across 541 Canadian locations, while ReadySpaces currently offers 200–5,000 sq. ft. in Toronto with power, loading docks, Wi-Fi and 24/7 access. citeturn0search0turn0search2

*Planning labour assumption: one administrator, 40 hours/week, budgeted at approximately $23/hour plus employer payroll burden/benefits, rounded to $4,600/month. This is a planning figure and should be replaced with the actual local compensation package.

What the initial franchise/location partner budget covers

For the first-year planning model, GlobeX should also budget separately for insurance, signage, computer/printer, internet, scales, shelving/racking, security deposits and working capital. Those items should not be confused with the base rent-and-labour foundation number above.

Café equipment and capital investment

Each location capital plan includes the Earthman tabletop touchscreen café model: equipment purchase or lease setup, delivery, installation, required water/power connections, countertop or stand, and staff training. Equipment acquisition and installation are budgeted as setup investments; opening stock and ongoing ingredients, consumables, cleaning and maintenance are budgeted separately. Final investment amounts are based on the selected model and supplier quotation.

Partner economics

The location partner may operate the hub directly or provide the local manpower and facility while GlobeX supplies the brand, systems, customer acquisition, shipment workflows and network connectivity. For services rendered through agent outlets, GlobeXpress receives 30% of the service-fee revenue and the outlet retains 70%. Additional location arrangements are documented in the partner agreement.

Receiving partners wanted: commercial warehouse operators, co-warehousing providers, logistics companies, entrepreneurs and established businesses with suitable premises and the ability to provide reliable customer-facing service.

Any formal franchise offering will be subject to the applicable Canadian provincial franchise, disclosure, licensing, insurance and contract requirements.

Agent outlet service revenue

GlobeXpress receives 30% of service-fee revenue from services rendered through an agent outlet as its network compensation. The outlet retains the remaining 70%. This share is reconciled from the proceeds of the services generated at the outlet.
